Aims and Objectives
Creane Higher Secondary School aims to form the young men and women with five C’s Character, Competence, Conscience, Caliber, Compassion. At Creane’s we are deeply committed to build a harmonious, robust and just society where everyone owns up their utmost responsibility as a part of the whole, where each one is anxious to carry out every duty as a citizen and enjoy the every freedom responsibly as a societal being. We educate children in our institution not just be head weights having a great cerebral acumen but to have a holistic personality: skill-based intellect, well-informed conscience, compassionate heart, enviable conduct, enlightened soul, sensitive to cultural riches, gender sensitivity, and great respect to the environment. We strive for an education that promotes communal harmony, religious pluralism, penchant for true patriotism and uprightness in human relationship.
However, in our educational efforts we do recognize that the influence of the school on student’s growth is limited. Other influences such as family, friends, peer group, culture and the general socio-economic environment, in which one lives, will foster or hinder the student’s growth. Here comes the robust role of the family and the extended family in forming the mind and heart of the ward. Fully aware of these dynamics which are beyond the control of the school, we believe that the children who enter the portals of Creane Higher Secondary School will be formed into people who are open to growth, intellectually competent, religiously tolerant, loving and caring for their fellow beings and deeply committed to doing justice. To this aim we dedicate ourselves: our resources, our energy, our time, and our expertise.
